Data deletion instructions
Next provides customer-service software to businesses. Each business controls the customer data it collects through its connected channels.
Data Next may store
- Account and business configuration, team memberships, and assistant settings.
- Conversations, messages, channel identifiers, and related customer/contact information.
- Knowledge sources, catalog and sales records, appointment references, and service usage records.
- Encrypted access credentials for integrations that the business connected, such as Meta, Google Drive, or Calendar.
- Incoming WhatsApp voice notes may be sent to Google Gemini for transcription; the audio file itself is not retained by Next, while the resulting transcript is handled as a conversation message.
How to request deletion
- Email us from the address associated with the account, or explain how we can verify your identity.
- Include the business name, your account email, the channel involved (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, or website chat), and whether you are requesting deletion of a conversation or the entire business account. Never send passwords, access tokens, or API keys.
- We verify the requester with the business owner or the relevant account before deleting data. We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete verified deletion within 30 calendar days, unless law requires retention.
A business owner can permanently remove an individual conversation and its messages from the company workspace. A verified request to close a business account is completed by the platform administrator using the permanent deletion control in the admin panel; organization-owned records and integration credentials are deleted together. Global user login accounts are not deleted automatically because the same account may be used by another business; request account deletion separately by email.
